Organise the Sino-American Exchange Program

“100K Strong Initiative” is the international exchange initiative for American students learning in China jointly established by former President Hu Jintao of China and President Obamaof the United Statesin 2010. On March 25, 2011, Mayor Richard Daly of Chicago came to Hangzhou cityand signed an agreement on this subject with Dr. Lu Guanqiu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wanxiang Group.

HZWP has been used as the platform and venue for learning and exchange activities for American students. Recently, eight delegations, including Northwestern University and University of Chicago, have come to HZWP for summer learning programs.

In the summer of 2012, teachers and scholars who are members of the Delegation of the Committee of 100 learned Chinese calligraphy and painting in Hangzhou Wanxiang Polytechnic.

On June 17, 2013, Dr.Robert L.Head, President of Rockford University, USA, visited Hangzhou Wanxiang Polytechnic.

Students from University of Chicago at the closing ceremony of the 2013 summer program and farewell dinner held in the headquarters of Wanxiang Group.
